Oh dear, deer, doe dilemma

I'm insisting on doing a deer design but I don't really feel like any of them are working for me yet. This is probably the closest I have come to final deer. The exact colours aren't exact yet either. This was my first attempt drawing with a drawing tablet - I kind of like it.

Here are some of the others... I think of these I like the pure outlines but feel they might not be gritty enough for what I want. I also think the grey and red works well but am worried it's too similar a version of my pighunt. Feedback super appreciated as I'm feeling stuck on this one.

    all of them are cool, but I like the top one the best!!!The colours go nice together and I would like to have them on my wall.However th one with the black outline with red splashes looks a bit hounted,the animals look dead...I prob wouldnt want to live with the dead animals in my house!!!This is just my opinion thou...I do like all of them, especialy the ones that are more detailed illustrations...)))Hope it helps!

    I like the yellow and grey one, and the orange and black one the best

    Eve cool! I think the grey and red is best! There is impact that you don't get out of the other ones, but that is also because of the drawing style. Similarity? I don't think you should be too concerned about that, but the other one I really like for colour is that one with black background with tan/orangee and red (with bike in front) I love that but maybe try this combo with that sketchy drawing style?? Anyway looks awesome!

    Ohhh very nice! I like the top one too, i think the colours are great and the way you have drawn them is lovely. I get good vibes!
    The others are okay, I dont think the one with the black and the red works. Its also great to see them in a room-with the chair and stuff!

    I've just got that problem where I feel I've looked at them too long and I just can't see them properly anymore. Talking with Chris on Friday I decided that none of them work as well as my other designs so... back to the drawing board
